Ceenorm's custom-build distribution units - design and build service
CEENORM offers a bespoke distribution unit design and build service – whether it’s for a permanent installation or a temporary/portable power requirement, our experienced and knowledgeable custom build team will guide you through the process.
Our custom build team work on custom build units up to 630A. We use Bals plug and sockets on all or builds and use integral transformers – made in house by our transformer manufacturer Transpower Engineering – and circuit protection as required.
We supply custom build distribution equipment into a range of varied sectors, including building & construction, ports & harbours, film/TV & outdoor events, heavy industry, military, food processing & packaging, and the renewable energy industry.
Options include Bals Variabox, Evobox and Modbox - which can all be individually configured to meet exact requirements - as well as metal/steel enclosures.
The Evobox is a range of distribution boxes for temporary/portable power installations. It’s a portable distribution system which is commonly used in the entertainments industry but also used elsewhere including on construction sites - anywhere where there might be a requirement to move the power supply.
We can also supply smaller portable rubber distribution units – including suspended.
The Variabox is a versatile and flexible distributor system with five standard sizes which can then be individually configured (our custom-build department use the Variabox as the starting point for many of their custom build units). The Variabox – which is used for fixed/permanent installations - is made of high-grade impact-resistant plastic and is available with an IP rating of either IP44 or IP67.
The Modbox is a rubber distribution box used for fixed/permanent installations.
Steel/metal enclosures are also popular, and we supply a large amount of custom-build units using steel or metal, as permanent/fixed surface mounting distribution boxes.
